The internal, associate-facing CRM platform and engine of record underneath Fidelity's wealth and brokerage experiences. Twelve product teams and 100+ engineers built on it, serving ~28,000 associates.

• Set the architecture, security and release standards every team in the CRM ecosystem delivered within, and carried that governance into business units outside my funding line, where adoption came without a reporting line to compel it.
• Led a 12-person senior engineering organization including five Principal Engineers owning engineering, release, data, quality and production support, and developed them into independent domain owners. Accountable for delivery execution, quality and capacity allocation.
• Directed the platform off on-premise Oracle onto AWS with the integration and ETL tiers re-platformed, owning the go/no-go at every cutover, and set the architecture for the real-time API tier and the operational data layer.
• Delivered $2M in annual licensing cost avoidance against a capped 8,000-seat pool while expanding access, and replaced a failing entitlement engine serving 28,000 associates with no provisioning impact, converting a permanent draw on my capacity into a vendor obligation.
• Owned the biweekly release gate across a 12-team monorepo at 20+ releases per team per year with no major go-live issues, and shifted quality and security checks left with AI, returning roughly two hours per developer per cycle.
• Sponsored the platform's first business-facing generative AI capability and the integration patterns everything after it follows, with advisor review required before any AI-generated task reached a client record.

Principal Software Engineer, Platform & DevOps

Built the delivery model the platform still runs on. Hired as a senior engineer onto the 25-30 person team migrating the business unit's CRM from on-premise Siebel to Salesforce, promoted to Principal in 2018, on the platform I would later own as director.

• Moved CRM from multi-month waterfall to reliable biweekly releases, and scaled the same pipelines from 4 squads to 8 as teams were added. Became the practice's recognized authority on CI/CD, Salesforce DX and AWS tooling.
• Ran the analysis that enumerated the platform's experiences, decomposed them into capabilities and assigned accountable owners. It replaced informal upgrade sign-off with dependency-based validation and became the mechanism the organization reused through two operating-model transitions.
• Modernized real-time Java APIs and Kafka event managers off internal VM infrastructure onto public AWS cloud, and built the layer bridging external Kafka and EventBridge events into native platform queues.
• Raised enhancement requests that Salesforce shipped into their DX product, and worked directly with their technical advisory team on integration requirements.
• Established development standards and CI/CD automation later adopted across additional Fidelity organizations. Multiple Excellence in Action awards.
